I give the floor to those who have already trusted me,
and I warmly thank them for their testimonials...

What a fabulous trip to the land of my ancestors! I was impressed by the rigor with which you constructed my family tree. It’s abundant, dizzying but also very moving. Indeed, looking at the files of people I met in my childhood brings up their faces and it’s quite overwhelming. Then I go back in time... Curiosity to discover my ancestors: taste of ancient first names, and professions that have now disappeared. Surprised to find, through marriages, links with families in my region. But this journey towards my origins also bears witness to life in past centuries. I learned that a woman died after giving birth to my great-grandmother, or that another ancestor, a soldier, traveled to Africa.

All this is supported by documents, often handwritten, that you deciphered for me. Finally, you restored an old, very damaged photo of my grandfather: the result is stunning! What emotion to see his young and smiling face appear!

For all this, sincerely, thank you!

Language issues, arcane government websites and incomplete information require a professional’s skills to put family mysteries to rest. If your family has secrets, as mine did, you need the services of Ms Jolidon.

My grandparents emigrated from Sweden and Switzerland in the early 1900’s but they and their children are all gone now, so no one to ask about the phantom sister than only a few of us had ever heard of. Ms Jolidon, who is very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of accessing old records, stepped in with her wonderful research skills and tenacity and got us the answers that we sought.

Our family will be forever grateful.

I always wanted to know where I came from, how far back I could go. For my maternal family this was quite easy, but I had very little information about my paternal grandfather. Thanks to you, I was finally able to lift the veil. I learned the names, dates of birth, marriage and death not only of my great-grandparents, but also of my more distant ancestors going back to the 18th century. You also revealed to me that my last name had undergone a transformation before being what it is today.

You provided me as well with copies of numerous official documents, some of which concern this paternal grandfather, who is no longer an "almost unknown" to me.

Thank you so much...
